SSP Scholarship Payment Sanctioning & Disbursement Process
- Application Submission:
Students must submit the online application for Post-Matric and Pre-Matric scholarship schemes through the State Scholarship Portal. - Institution-Level Verification:
The submitted application will first be verified by the student’s institution (School/College). - Department-Level Review:
The application is then reviewed by the concerned department based on the student’s category and the applicable scheme.
The department will either approve or reject the application based on the details provided. - Sanction & Disbursement:
Once the application is approved, the payment is pushed to the DBT Cell (Direct Benefit Transfer), and the amount is directly credited to the student’s bank account.
Note:
For Post-Matric students, the fee reimbursement amount is disbursed in two parts:
- 40% of the amount is paid by the Government of Karnataka
- 60% of the amount is paid by the Government of India
Therefore, the fee reimbursement will be credited to the student’s bank account in two separate installments.
